Although LFP batteries do not require thermal management to run an application, a dedicated battery thermal management system (BTMS) delivers major system advantages. It provides maximum performance and extends service life despite varying climate conditions.

Emoss regards battery heating and cooling as an essential solution to keep the battery within the optimal operating temperature range regardless of ambient temperature. The battery temperature management system is integrated as standard in the new flexible electrification platform.

We are an innovative system integrator and continuously evaluate new components from suppliers across the electrification market. The new electrification platform provides the flexibility to choose the most suitable solution for each customer application. By combining proven expertise with next-generation innovation, we continue to strengthen and develop our electrification platform for the future.

Does every diesel vehicle that is replaced by an electric vehicle really have to be new? We don’t think so.

For many heavy-duty and specialist vehicles, retrofit is a smart alternative. By electrifying an existing vehicle, its proven strengths are preserved, while the diesel engine is replaced by a zero-emission driveline. This extends the vehicle’s lifetime, saves raw materials and reduces CO₂ impact compared to producing a completely new vehicle.

The energy transition is not only about new technology. It is also about making smarter use of what is already there. That is exactly where retrofit makes the difference.

Electrification in action at one of the world’s most advanced energy projects ⚡

At the ITER project in southern France, countries from around the world are working together to develop fusion energy, a potential clean and safe energy source for the future.

Together with Mammoet, Emoss contributed to this project by electrifying heavy transport. Using our electric drive systems, large and sensitive components were moved with high precision — while significantly reducing emissions and noise on site.
