Climate change remains one of the main societal challenges humanity is facing in the 21st century, with road transport as one of the main contributors to carbon emissions. Whilst the implementation of electric vehicles can reduc

e carbon emissions, the adoption is lagging as barriers exist for consumers. One important barrier is the slow charging times of electric vehicles and even fast charging is still too slow! Therefore, InMotion develops cell-level cooling technology which aims to facilitate ‘Electric Refueling’, meaning that the charging times of electric vehicles become equal to those of refueling petrol-powered cars. InMotion's mission is to inspire students, organizations, and society with our unique concept to accelerate the energy transition in the automotive industry. No more ‘let’s grab a coffee while your car is charging when you don’t feel like it. No more waiting around. Just refuel your electric car, in an instance, and be done with it. Electric refueling. Our solution
We will achieve our mission by showcasing ‘Electric Refueling’ in the toughest endurance racing environments, creating an attractive image for electric vehicles by charging our concepts as fast as petrol-powered cars can be refueled. Ultimately, we will join in the Garage 56 class during the 24 Hours of Le Mans with a fully electric endurance race car.

Behind every impressive race car is a team of passionate and disciplined people. In our case, we want to thank the 25-26 team that is now passing the torch to us!

Many days in the garage, planning events, testing, and representing the team, a lot of time, effort, and care is given to continue our mission.

A new generation of battery technology, a major step forward, and a collaboration pushing the limits of electric racing.

During our track day at Bilster Berg, we put NGBP EVO to the test, the iteration of our Next Generation Battery Pack (NGBP), developed together with our cell technology partner DESTEN Inc. in just one year. For the first time The Revolution was able to unleash the full power of the pack on track, reaching a top speed of 240 km/h.

At the heart of NGBP EVO are DESTEN’s high-performance cells, giving us the power, fast-charging capability under 4 minute charging, and energy density we need to move electric racing forward. Paired with our cell-level cooling system, the pack delivered impressive stability under extreme load, maintaining a maximum temperature difference of just 3°C across the entire battery. This marks a major step in validating the new battery pack under real racing conditions.

From high-performance cells to the complete battery system, NGBP EVO shows what is possible when expertise comes together with a shared ambition to push electric racing further.

This was only our first full-power test. The next chapter is already underway. ⚡🏁

Student Team Recap - July
July was a full month for the team. A lot of technical progress on the new battery modules, transferring knowledge to the new team, and several events where we shared our work. From the Summer Trophy at Zandvoort to meeting CEOs from the Brainport region, this month brought both development and connection.
A busy stretch, but one that sets up the next phase of the project.



With the new team joining, July was packed with buddy days and our first transferweek. Engineering, business, operations and testing knowledge was passed on to prepare everyone for the upcoming year.

We joined the Zandvoort Summer Trophy, one of the big summer racing weekends at Zandvoort. A great moment to connect with partners, show our Vision and gather insights from the racing world.

At the Brainport Partnerfonds event we met CEOs and leaders from the Brainport region. A strong opportunity to share our story and vision for fast‑charging technology and connect with companies shaping the future of mobility and innovation.

A big part of July was again spent on putting the new battery modules together into our NGBP Evo. The pack focuses on improving reliability, safety and fast‑charging performance. We are working hard and it's going the right way!
