The latest breed of VW cars don't have headlight washers anymore, probably as a cost-saving measure. Little that I knew, my latest BCM doesn't have the little PCB components on it anymore to operate the pump for that.

So... after some research, the missing components were quickly transferred from a donor 5Q0 BCM to my 2024 5Q1 BCM and all is working.

Sometimes retrofitting can be very functional, and fun.
The Superb 3V and Touran 5T have the option for electric child locks and have them controlled individually.

These door locks (5TA) for the rear doors will fit 1:1 into the Passat B8, and the switches will fit without modification as well.

The rear locks each need two wires and the front switches need one extra wire.

Now my own Passat has this option as well. Just need to add some chrome for suitable optics.
