What I enjoy most is hammering and wheeling my own sheet metal parts. Especially when the reflection lines of the newly made front fender are just right.

Today I sanded and polished the rusted anvil stakes I bought during my holiday in France. A nice addition to the collection.

I stopped by today to see the owner of the Triumph Dolomite for which I built a bespoke body. He had driven the Vcc P.Bordino in Italy in June. The Triumph held up very well throughout the entire rally, and quite a few nice signs of use have been added to it.

3 x Porsche 356 pre-A 1951-1952

This week, I received photos from Jeroen van der Velden of his beautiful 1953 Porsche 356 Cabrio, for which I had the privilege of performing the sheet metal restoration. The bodywork was expertly repainted by Bert-Nijenhuis Autorestauratie in its original Volkswagen color, a finish used on only two Porsche 356s at the time. An incredibly beautiful body. And knowing Jeroen van der Velden , he will assemble the 356 to the highest standards as well. I am proud to have been a part of this process.

A small and unusual side job. On this Lancia Sport Prototipo Zagato, the cooling fan mounting bracket and the Air Scoops on the hood, as they were on the car during the Targa Florio in 1964, were missing. I was asked to reconstruct them based on a photo. The first photo was taken now, and the second 62 years ago.

The bespoke Triumph Dolomite for which I built the bodywork, at the .bordino . It is nice to see that my client is enjoying this amazing car. This is what cars are made for. PEDAL TO THE METAL!
