The image is mysterious. The location: the Netherlands. The mission: the very first step of a development that will leave a lasting mark on Hungary’s search and rescue field.

The EMILI Project by Imerys is currently testing the FD electric Land Cruiser in the Beauvoir quarry in France.
Geologists working on the EMILI project are evaluating this electric 4x4 as part of ongoing field operations. This trial could mark the first step toward a fully electrified fleet in the future.
It’s a concrete example of how our Electric Landcruiser supports part of the project aligning its activities with environmental responsibility and the broader energy transition—where even rugged fieldwork begins to run a little quieter and a lot cleaner.

Another productive day at the FD Special Vehicles B.V. workshop 🚧🔧
Our team is hard at work transforming a batch of Toyota Land Cruiser units into fully equipped underground mining vehicles—built to handle the toughest environments beneath the surface.
And the momentum continues: today we’ve welcomed 10 Peugeot Landtrek units into the workshop, soon to be converted into K9 vehicles, ready to support critical operations.

⚡ Yesterday was also a great day for cross-border collaboration.

We welcomed East Forest Mongolia LLC to FD Special Vehicles B.V. to seal a new partnership for the FD Electric LandCruiser, now set to be distributed by BOLOR Bilegt and his team across the Mongolian mining industry.

Strong conversations, a firm handshake, and a shared vision for electric capability in some of the world’s toughest environments where the legendary Landcruiser is already at home.

The day wrapped up the right way, dinner together after hours, talking about projects and Mongolian & Quarter horses. 🐎
