Rust repair on this Mazda MX-5 NA.

What looked manageable from the outside turned into a much bigger job once the panels came off. The affected steel was fully removed, the inner structure rebuilt and the body repaired with new metal and an OEM Mazda quarter panel.

No shortcuts. Just doing it properly.

The Mazda MX-5 NA is slowly becoming a rare sight. The ones that are left usually come with a story… and rust in all the familiar places.

Years of salty roads and old repairs mean these cars deserve more than a quick fix. To save them properly, we strip them down, cut out everything that doesn’t belong, and rebuild them the right way.

This MX-5 already has one fully restored side. Soon it’s back for the other side, then paint.

Most NA and NB MX-5s have frame rails that are either dented or rusted through. It’s a common issue — and we fix it.

Our frame rail repair panels are thicker and stronger than OEM. That means you can safely jack the car up without worrying about bending or punching through.
