Rapid ladies 🫶

Rode two fun race days this year with the Ladies Cup, The New Racing Force. Look at that grid! Actually quite impressive to see that many ladies racing together.

Had a few ✨rock star moments✨, had many 🧚‍♀️flower mode moments🧚‍♀️. Guess that will never change. That’s okay. I’ve made peace with it haha. It’s all for fun for me. You don’t have to be brilliant at something to enjoy the heck out of it.

But.. unexpectedly ended 3rd in the 1000 class👀 does that mean I have to look for sponsors now?😝

Great initiative, with big plans. Fun days. Can’t wait for 2027. Will try to race a little more if our schedule and my wallet allows it. And mix it up with a whole lot of motocross. ‘Cause flying suits me🧚‍♀️

I kinda feel like I’m not ready for winter yet…

Effe terug naar m’n eerste Kermiscross ervaring op 5 september in Noordwijkerhout, samen met topper Renée Stegers 👀😂 en dit keer eens eigenwijs in het Nederlands, want ik blijf toch een Hollander.

Na ik gok zo’n 8 weken weer niet op de crosser te hebben gereden maar weer eens terug in het zadel. Met alles vlak en veel krappe bochten was het een recept voor veel gegodver en getier. Heerlijk.

Het ging dus niet van een leien dakje. Mijn snel ontwikkelde gewoonte van hendeltjes breken hield ik er mooi in ook. Toch ergens nog constant in 😜 Het was vreselijk en fantastisch tegelijk. Voor het eerst starten, ik deed maar wat en kwam eigenlijk niet gek mee. Lachen wel. Dat er nog veel te leren valt is duidelijk. Dit brommertje is wel echt een toppertje. Wie had gedacht dat beginnen met motorcross in je thirties zo geinig kon zijn.

Ik was uiteindelijk niet laatste - jeeeuuujjj - en als ik niet zo vaak op m’n snuitje was gegaan (puur door 🐌🐌-gang) had er nog een verdraaid leuk rondje ingezeten. Vliegen is machtig, misschien was ik toch een vlindertje in een vorig leven. Zou me niets verbazen🧚‍♀️

Nou, ik fladder mooi verder. Ik kom vast ooit wel ergens. Morgen maar weer eens terug in het zadel van de cross kroket op het terrein van Landsard. Die ouwe sloopkogel van een enduro eens op z’n lazer geven. Of meer realistisch: paar pensionada rondjes doen. Eens zien wat ik daarvan maak. Het zal ongetwijfeld weer met veel schunnige taal gaan. Wat een k*t hobby. Zin in 🤘

Spa-Francorchamps 2026 💖

Possibly the most beautiful track on this Earth.. Spa slowly stole my heart 🥹 It’s been a great mirror too. Beautifully displayed every part of riding that Aprilia I still struggle with.

Learned a lot this year on the race bike, while I didn’t even ride it that much. I am so, so incredibly hard on myself. Want to keep up with the progress others make, while forgetting they ride at least 2, but often 3 times more often.

And I know, I shouldn’t focus on that. It’s all about your own progress. But hey.. a girl just wants to ride fast! And it’s annoying when it feels like you don’t grow that fast in your own riding.

BUT: learned a lot this year. I don’t know why everyone always shouts ‘passing people on a 1000 is easy, you just pass everyone on the straight’. Been outbreaking (YES, REALLY. Can you imagine?!) people all year, and passing people on insides and outsides. My passing skills are definitely on point now 😂 hella more elbows out vibes.

Been practising the braking late and braking hard part. It didn’t make me faster yet 😂 but we’ll get there one day.

Had a minor whoopsie with a cold front tyre after an almost 10 min delay. Stupid, stupid. But needed a new set of fairings anyway for almost 1.5 years, and I was too cheap to get one. I’m out of excuses now why I shouldn’t get one, so the Aprilia will get some well-deserved TLC this winter 💖

Ended up with a very low 2.55 in dry conditions with a sh*tload of overtaking and 3.05 in the verrrrry wet. And well.. I am actually mega proud of that. I’ll never be the fastest, but I feel like that is a solid score for a show pony like me😜

Got 2 more days at Assen. And if all goes according to plan, I will ride all sort of bikes except my own 👀 Curious what insights that day will bring 👀

About August.. 🏆💖

Words can’t explain how insanely proud I am of this man. He had a dream, and he worked incredibly hard to make it come true. It wasn’t easy. Not at all. It required a lot of mental flexibility, financial means, and physical effort. But he did it. You didn’t just make huge steps as a racer, but in general as a man too. I think it’s safe to say you’ve left an impression on the island. Mega results, and I think you’ve charmed quite a lot of ladies, and men ;) No surprise there of course 🥰

While he played the biggest role in achieving his dream, he didn’t do it alone. As a team, we did a mega job. Everything was new to us all. And we tackled it brilliantly, if I may say so. This event is wonderful in so many ways, but is also entwined with a decent amount of emotions, both positive, and the more challenging kind. We all coped with it the best we could. And I think we all can be super, super proud how we handled it all. Best. Team. Ever.

A big thanks to Manx Grand Prix Official for having us. And also a huge thanks to the entire Jamie Williams team, for all the help, tips, kind words and wonderful company. We all appreciate it so much. I guess we’ll be back next year. Because a certain wheelie master has definitely been bitten by the Isle of Man bug 👀

Back at TT Assen❤️‍🔥 Haven’t been riding much so far. But felt good to be back at the Cathedral of Speed with RSZ Motorsport Ladies Cup. Wanted some training laps. Couldn’t risk coming off the bike and getting injured, so took it easy. Lovely consistent pace. Secretly love cruising around in my nice and quite comfort zone haha 🧘‍♀️ But would love to get a bit quicker too. If all goes well the coming weeks, I might join again on the 7th of September. See if I can get out of that comfort zone again 🦋 And get my racey pants on.

Lovely day, with lovely ladies, and brilliant company. Now off to the ManxGP for Wally’s adventure🚀

Great cruisings with the fast Renée Stegers Jorina Baars ❤️‍🔥 Cool girls! Awesome to see how much they ride, and to see the bigs steps they make with their riding. All women on a mission. Definitely inspires me to set aside more money for racing. I might need a sugar daddy or something 🤣💯

Getting more comfortable on the bike again. Took me some time, to be honest. Doubted myself for a long, long time. But this rocket is brilliant🙌❤️‍🔥

Happy days, trying to fly my little rocket ❤️‍🔥

This bike.. honestly babes and gents. Absolutely effin’ brilliant. I should probably get a commission by now from for the amount of people I convinced to buy either an RSV4, RS660 or Tuono🤣 Maybe I should switch careers and get into selling motorbikes 😂

All jokes aside, that machine is wicked. The best thing I ever bought. I have a hate-love relationship with the ‘money-culture’ on this Earth, but I am guilty of participating too. Because this thing - which I bought with my own money for which I was a 9-5 money slave too - makes me incredibly happy. Racing motorbikes is amazing. Track days are amazing. It hurts when things go wrong. Especially in my soul, because this bike truly is ‘my precious’. Don’t mind the breaking bones part. So mind the fix that thing up again part 😂 But this bike is as good as it gets for me.

I do am tempted to get an RS660, because it’s a tad easier to ride for me, as a petit little lady. Just a whole lot lighter, and less intimidating in terms of braking down from high speeds. But on the days where it ✨clicks✨ between the RSV4 and me.. it’s just magic.

Go Italian, I dare you 👀😏
