Welcome to Performance VW Magazine’s September 2026 issue – and what an issue it is! We’re just one issue away from celebrating 30 years of PVW, and while that should be a collectible issue in its own right, so is this one. We decided to give this issue some extra special flavour, and that comes in the form of a collectible ‘gatefold’ cover. It doesn’t just look epic on the shelves while showing off that completely nutty 700hp, two-tone, all-wheel drive, diesel-powered Corrado cover car, but the back side of it doubles as a show guide for the upcoming L’oe Show - the biggest little car show, held annually in downtown Pottstown, PA, USA over Labour Day weekend. You have to check it out, and if you’re Stateside, use it to navigate to the Performance VW 30th Anniversary display and come say hi.
Adding to that awesomeness, you’ll once again find some great content from the aftermarket VW world like a 530hp TT-RS-swapped, all-wheel-drive Mk5 Golf wagon, a twin-charged VR6-powered Mk3 Golf Variant, a 450hp 1.8T BAM-swapped Lupo and a street-legal time-attack-spec Jetta Fahrenheit with a tuned EA888 swap, among other rad stuff. There’s coverage from Royal Fitment in Holland’s and on the tech front we take a closer look at APR’s new Haldex upgrade program.
While you’re at it, we think you should head over to pvwmag.com and snag a Performance VW subscription (now available in a 3-Month option!), not just to save time and money, but to ensure you never miss an issue – especially the upcoming 30th Anniversary Issue.
