99% of DRIVERS LICENSE are Fake. A quote from a VIO Officer yesterday. (Vehicle Inspection Office)
The fine for carrying a fake drivers license is N20,000. And you will be asked to pay N7,500 for Income Tax, N4,000 for Driving School Test, N500 for CD, N6,350 for new Driving License, write an exam N100, etc.
The fastest way to know that, you're carrying a fake drivers license is:
Did you go into FRSC's office and have your photo taken! It is called "Data Capturing".
If you did NOT. You are 100% carrying a FAKE DRIVERS LICENSE.
Solution-
Go pay the N6,350 for your new license and pay N5,000 for your Income Tax and get an ORIGINAL DRIVERS LICENSE.
VIO officers are hot in Lagos!!!
If you are from outside Lagos, don't drive in Lagos with your FAKE license.
I forgot, they will impound or seize your car and each day your car stays in their office, it will cost you N1,000 per day (DEMURRAGE).
Also if you bought a New or "almost new Tokunbo" and its now over 5 years old from manufacturing date, please endeavour to get a Road-Worthiness Certificate, it costs just N3,000 for a car and saves you a lot of embarrassment and time.
