We are looking for a dynamic, strategic, and results-driven professional to join our team as a Pre-Owned Sales Manager.
𝗞𝗘𝗬 𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗠𝗔𝗡𝗖𝗘 𝗔𝗥𝗘𝗔
𝗠𝗔𝗡𝗔𝗚𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧
✔️ Establish staffing levels required to achieve departmental objectives
✔️ Select, hire, train, and develop sales department staff
✔️ Identify departmental training needs in conjunction with training staff (CJD)
✔️ Ensure training programmes are completed with proper records maintained
✔️ Establish and administer in-dealership training for new model launches and staff development
✔️ Operate staff performance and appraisal systems and ensure action is taken on results
✔️ Manage day-to-day operations and functions of all staff
✔️ Establish and review basic pay and incentive schemes
ADMINISTRATION
✔️ Ensure all administrative functions, returns, records, and clerical operations are up to date
✔️ Review all activities and reporting systems with Dealer Principal
✔️ Ensure adequate safety and security procedures are maintained
✔️ Maintain showroom cleanliness, forecourt presentation, and sales-related display areas
✔️ Stock management and control (NDP)
𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗠𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗖𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡
✔️ Maintain strong liaison with other managers
✔️ Meet and interact with Dealer Principal and management on sales matters
✔️ Advise subordinates on dealership and sales matters
✔️ Liaise directly with manufacturer representatives, suppliers, and market managers
✔️ Build and maintain excellent customer relationships
𝗠𝗔𝗥𝗞𝗘𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚
✔️ Propose special sales promotions
✔️ Formulate and execute marketing plans, launches, and promotions
✔️ Analyse customer preferences and compare with forecasts
✔️ Handle customer complaints and ensure corrective action
✔️ Maintain records of complaints and compliments
✔️ Newsletter / SMS / E-mail / Manufacturer communication / sponsorship / 4x4 Club etc.
✔️ Advertising / marketing / media i.e. radio and newspaper
✔️ Prospecting process

✔️ Review pricing policies, discounts, and trade-ins to maintain profitability
✔️ Monitor demonstrator fleet costs and condition
✔️ Monitor department financial performance
✔️ Develop and manage budgets
✔️ Monitor outstanding debtors and take action where necessary
