Toyota Hilux GD6 – Full Audio Upgrade Completed

We had the pleasure of upgrading the sound system on this Toyota Hilux GD6. Starting with proper sound treatment, we applied Powerbass sound deadening to both the inner and outer skins of the front doors to reduce vibrations and improve acoustic performance.

For the front stage, we installed Pioneer TS-1675V3 coaxial speakers paired with Hertz DT24.3 tweeters, neatly mounted on the A-pillars for crisp highs and improved staging.

To integrate the factory head unit, we added a Kicker high-to-low converter, feeding clean signal into a Starsound SSA-ATOM-13800.4 4-channel amplifier — perfectly tucked under the passenger seat for a clean and stealthy install.

Bass duties are handled by the LTW-6000 SVF Ray Series 10” shallow subwoofer, mounted behind the passenger seat. The system is wired with 10mm pure copper ripcord for power, a Recoil fuse and holder, and Recoil RCA cables for signal clarity.

A old time client brought us his 3rd Honda which is a Taxi. We treated the car with Powerbass sound deadening Mat in the doors inner and outer skin plus the door panels, same was done with the boot lit. We replaced the radio with a imported android 10inch unit with a reverse camera. In the front rear are Pioneer TS-A1688S
6.5″ 4-Way powered of a Star Sound Rapter Series 7000W 4 Channel Amplifier. For the bass we build a sloted enclouer with plexiglass window and painted white, which host a Targa TG-MB12D4 Mamba Series 12″ DVC D4 Subwoofer. For cosmetic touches we added led multi color lights on all four speakers rings, under the dashboard, under the back seats, and inside the subwoofer encloser. On the interior there are cool white lights and exterior we imported 2pcs Honda Fit Jazz Sport RS 2013 waterproof DRL daytime running driving LEDs.
