🔥 TOYOTA HILUX 3.0 D4D STAGE 2 🔥

The Toyota Hilux 3.0 D4D is where Boostech started. These legendary engines are the foundation of what we do, and after tuning hundreds of them over the years, we're still amazed by the amount of untapped potential hidden inside them.

Craig came to Boostech Durbanville looking for a solution to poor towing performance and higher-than-expected fuel consumption.

Before touching the software, we performed a full Toyota Techstream diagnostic on the engine, turbocharger and injectors to ensure everything was 100% healthy and operating within specification.

Only then did we develop and install a custom Stage 2 ECU calibration tailored specifically to Craig's needs.

The result?

✅ Reduced turbo lag
✅ Improved towing performance
✅ More power throughout the rev range
✅ Better fuel economy
✅ Improved drivability
✅ A more responsive and intuitive automatic gearbox

What an absolutely wild ride this has been! 😄🧡

From the coast… to the bush… to workshops, trucks, boats, road signs and places we never expected to see our famous cone appear — the BoosTech “Coney” competition turned into something far bigger than we imagined.
