Sometimes it's worth taking a moment to appreciate how far we've come.

We are incredibly grateful for the growth Boostech Namibia has experienced, and none of it would have been possible without the incredible support from Boostech HQ and the entire Boostech South Africa team. Being part of a brand that never stops developing, innovating, and raising the bar is something we're genuinely proud of.

A business is only as strong as the people behind it, and we are fortunate to have an amazing team in both Swakopmund and Windhoek. While we're on the road, we know our customers are in capable hands. Our team isn't just highly skilled—they genuinely care, understand our customers' needs, and share the same passion for delivering quality work.

Today we're in Aussenkehr, sitting next to the Orange River, surrounded by breathtaking mountains, taking in just how beautiful Southern Namibia really is. From here it's on to the Northern Cape and then the Western Cape.

This Alfa Romeo Giulietta came in wanting maximum drama, and it definitely doesn't disappoint.

Aggressive overrun calibration, plenty of noise, and a soundtrack that turns heads every time you lift off.

🚨 Brand New Ford Ranger 2.0 SiT (Facelift) – First Development Complete! 🚨

Another exciting milestone for Boostech Bloemfontein!

This is the new facelift Ford Ranger 2.0 SiT, now equipped with the Bosch MD1 ECU instead of the older SID213 ECU found on previous models.

This software version was completely locked and, to the best of our knowledge, this was likely the first example worldwide to be successfully read and written. At the time, none of the tuning tools available to us—or that we were aware of—could access this specific ECU software version. We worked closely with our tooling partner in Luxembourg to develop a solution, allowing us to unlock the ECU, obtain the required passwords, and achieve full read/write capability.

The ECU had to be removed and bench programmed to obtain the necessary info before any calibration work could even begin.

Development started with baseline dyno runs, where we immediately noticed that the new MD1 calibration runs significantly leaner from the factory than the previous SID213-equipped Rangers.

This Ranger was also fitted with heavy tyres and it was clear from the 1st dyno runs that the extra weight of the tyres took their fair share of power!

From there, with some help from friends in the industry, we spent the entire day identifying maps in the software using a damos, building a completely new base calibration, and carrying out multiple revisions using dyno testing and real-world data logging until we were satisfied with the results, 8pm on a friday night😉

Development like this is what keeps us moving forward. Every new platform teaches us something new, and we're committed to delivering safe, reliable, and thoroughly tested calibrations.

The road trips continue! 🚗💨

We're currently on our way to Aussenkehr, where a number of customers are already waiting with their Toyota Hiluxes, Ford Rangers, and even a Jeep SRT8 for the Boostech treatment.

From there, it's straight to Cape Town, where another busy schedule of customers is lined up and waiting. It's incredible to see the demand for our tuning and performance solutions continuing to grow across Southern Africa.

BIG THINGS ARE HAPPENING AT BOOSTECH!

The past few months have been nothing short of incredible, and we'd like to thank every single customer who has trusted us with their vehicle.

Not only has the Boostech international brand continued to grow, but we've also been blown away by the support we've received during our three previous visits to Cape Town. The response has exceeded all expectations, and it's clear that the Western Cape is ready for what Boostech has to offer.

Boostech is here to stay.

To better support our growing customer base, we've added a new member to the team—a Volkswagen Golf 7.5 Variant.
