中国电动车品牌比亚迪（BYD）传出，可能重新评估在霹雳丹绒马林设立本地组装厂的计划，原因是政府为这项投资设下的条件，并不容易谈拢。

消息一出，马上引发市场关注，因为这不只是单一车厂的投资决定，更反映出马来西亚在吸引外资与保护本地汽车工业之间，正试图寻找平衡。

据悉，投资、贸易及工业部提出的条件包括，丹绒马林厂生产的车辆当中，多达80%必须出口，而留在本地市场销售的车型，售价则必须高于20万令吉。换句话说，政府并不希望外来品牌通过本地组装，直接杀入大众市场，冲击本地车厂现有的价格带与市场份额。

投资、贸易及工业部长佐哈里阿都甘尼也表明，政府必须保护本地汽车工业，因为这背后牵涉的不只是几家车厂，而是整个产业链和约70万人的就业机会。这个说法其实已经相当清楚，大马欢迎电动车投资，但前提是不能牺牲本地产业基础。

目前，宝腾和第二国产车都已经积极布局电动车市场。宝腾首款电动车e.MAS售价约从5万7000令吉起跳，第二国产车则投入8亿令吉开发QV-E，并在2025年12月推出。虽然车身售价约8万令吉，但加上每月275令吉、为期9年的电池租赁安排后，整体成本已超过10万令吉。

政府之所以谨慎，关键就在于宝腾和第二国产车仍然是本地汽车业的核心支柱。两家公司汽车本地零件含量都达到50%，也支撑起大量零件供应商、装配商和周边服务链。2025年，第二国产车全年销量达35万9000辆，宝腾卖出15万7976辆，两者合计占本地汽车市场63.2%的份额，影响力依旧非常强。

在电动车市场，宝腾目前也暂时占优。根据研究机构引述陆路交通局数据，今年2月宝腾录得1802辆电动车注册量，比亚迪则为469辆。当月全国电动车总注册量为3635辆，占总注册量约7.9%。这说明，比亚迪虽然来势汹汹，但进入大马市场后，面对的不只是消费者竞争，还有政策门槛和本地品牌优势。

除了比亚迪，市场也在关注MG Motor、Zeekr和小鹏等其他中国品牌，未来是否也会面对类似条件。尤其从今年1月开始，全进口电动车已重新面对30%进口税、10%消费税和10%销售税，过去的免税红利正式结束。本地组装原本被视为下一步，但若门槛太高，车企是否愿意继续投产，仍有变数。

不过，并非所有中国车企计划都生变。东姑赛夫鲁透露，奇瑞马来西亚在乌鲁雪兰莪建设组装厂的计划已经敲定，因此会照常推进。由此可见，大马并没有完全关上大门，而是更强调“有条件开放”。

整体来看，这起事件凸显出大马当前发展电动车产业的现实考量。一边要抓住全球电动车浪潮，吸引更多制造业投资；另一边又必须保住本地品牌、本地供应链和就业市场。

接下来，比亚迪会否继续推进丹绒马林计划，就看双方能否在这些条件上找到共识，而这场谈判结果，也可能成为其他电动车品牌未来布局大马市场的重要参考。

BYD takes charging to a whole new level.

A new study suggests EV batteries degrade much slower than many people thought—only about 1.8% per year. That means many electric cars could potentially last longer than traditional gas engines.

In fact, some EVs have already crossed 300,000 miles on their original battery. Of course, things like charging habits, weather, and maintenance still play a big role.

Battery replacements can still be expensive, but the data shows EVs might be a much longer-term investment than many expected.

So the question is: would you switch to an EV, or stick with gas?
