Thank you The Assembly Soup Kitchen - TASK for trusting us with your vehicle.
Now , I usually practice what Matthew said , “do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing”, but in this case, I’d like to share how I got there.
Firstly , we were tasked to complete this van in less than 27 hours.
It is possible , but, we couldn’t use our usual SOP where 1 person works on 1 vehicle.
This time , we had 4 😂
Our team, Johanand, Billa, Nicholas & myself worked together on this vehicle.
Nicholas and Billa painted and polished it.
Once done, I took it to send to the car wash, just to find out all of the car wash were full.
So Jo and me decided to wash it ourselves.
As the van is used to transport kids to school, we can’t let it be dirty now, can we ?
Once we were done washing, I went up to the office to cool down , as Jo thought it’d be a good time to water down his boss as well 😉
Now, when I was in my office , that is when I heard the voice of God so clearly, saying: Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”
and I remembered the times when Josh Jay & myself use to help out in PBS after school.
I really thank the Lord for people like Daniel and TASK, for tirelessly working on helping those who are unable to help themselves.
The Lord bless you’ll and keep you’ll safe as you’ll sow His seeds here. May the centre never be in want.
