Another E60 through the workshop for a round of maintenance and repairs.

🔧 Work carried out:
• Aircond belt replacement
• DSC sensor replacement
• Front upper & lower arm link work
• Front & rear brake servicing
• Brake discs skimmed
• Engine oil service with Liqui Moly Special Tec 10W40
• Oil sump gasket replacement
• Oil sump nut & washers replacement
• Wheel alignment

From suspension and braking to DSC and routine servicing, everything checked and attended to get this E60 back on the road.

Keeping the old BMWs running the way they should.

Keeping a Classic Running Right. 🛠️

This E30 came in with multiple mechanical and electrical issues. We went through the car systematically from the timing system to the ECU and wiring.

🔧 **Work carried out:**
• Timing belt replacement
• Timing belt tensioner & idle bearing replacement
• Water pump replacement
• Camshaft, idle shaft & crankshaft oil seals
• Timing belt crankshaft pulley replacement — old pulley was rusted & damaged
• Oil seal & adjusting pulley work
• Throttle body servicing
• Crankshaft sensor replacement
• Smoke test to check for vacuum/air leaks
• ECU & wiring harness diagnosis
• Electrical short-circuit troubleshooting

The ECU and harness were both causing issues, with the electrical systems interconnected and affecting one another. Proper diagnosis was needed before getting the car back to a stable condition.
