The main purpose of engine bay shaving is to improve the appearance of the car by removing visual clutter. It is a styling choice that makes the engine look like it is floating inside a completely smooth compartment.

A customer came in for a respray and asked me to change her car's cabin filter while I was at it.
When I opened the glove box to replace the filter, I found a cucumber sitting in there. 😅

Out of curiosity, I asked, 'Miss, what's this cucumber doing in the glove box?'

She casually replied, 'Oh, I just bought it at the market. I'm going to pickle it later.'
In my head, I was thinking... who goes to the market just to buy ONE cucumber? And of all places, keeping it in the glove box? That's just next-level confusing! 🤭😁

When the original factory color code is no longer relevant, manual mixing techniques based on skill and visual color matching are the best solution. This process demands the painter's expertise to adjust the new color tones to match the car's current shade, ensuring the touch-up results appear seamless and well-blended.
