Hello everyone. I am from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and if you are reading this site most likely you may be looking for ways to modify your scooter or build one yourself. I have created this site to share with you about these little creatures called SCOOTERS. You may be wondering why this site is named SXOOTERS instead of "SCOOTERS". Well, its a short form for Sexy Scooters. Hahaha..am just kidding.
Eventhough I find it gorgeous! SX is a term used in medical profession for SURGERY. Yes, this site is about customising scooter and turning it into a machine of your dream. First Project- Low Rider based on Yamaha EGO S
I saw this modified creature in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah one day and fell in love with it. After that I started doing some reading and found various sites in Indonesia and Philippines with awesome works done to this scooter. Yamaha EGO S is known as Yamaha MIO in Indonesia and Philippines. This bike is code-named AR1 and it is basically completed. Thus I would be sharing the process of building AR1 in reverse. Second Project- Honda Ruckus
I have always wanted to own a RUCKUS unfortunately Honda Malaysia does not carry this bike. Adding salt to the wound, Malaysian law does not allow for an import of a motorcycle below 150cc (based on my inquiries and I may be wrong). I am left with only a choice- to built one! Honda Ruckus is a 50cc scooter and is big in USA with jaw-dropping modifications including engine swap to 150cc GY6 engine. This bike is code-named AR2 and it has just been completed-minus the paintwork. I will be sharing more of my journeys in making the above scooters. Infos about steps, parts, accessories, how-tos...the ups and downs..the pain and the gain :). The Shop section, which is currently at its infant stage will basically features parts which are used in making these bikes..some of which are designed and produced by me. Others are listed to offer an easier route for scooter builders in getting the parts thus saving you time and pain:). The nature of my work would sometimes keep me away from updating this site for weeks. Thus kindly bear with me ya. My aim is to get others especially in Malaysia and Kuala Lumpur in particular to start giving new life to their scooters and continue to pursue their dreams and at the end we could possibly ride together one day and be happy. :)
