Proton e.MAS 7 PHEV mencipta rekod jualan bulanan tertinggi untuk bulan kedua berturut-turut dengan 1,181 unit diserahkan kepada pelanggan. Hanya empat bulan selepas dilancarkan pada 4 Februari lalu, model itu telah menjadi kenderaan plug-in hybrid (PHEV) paling laris di Malaysia dengan jumlah jualan terkumpul sebanyak 2,936 unit.

Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif PRO-NET, Zhang Qiang berkata sambutan terhadap rangkaian Proton e.MAS menunjukkan keyakinan pengguna terhadap teknologi EV dan PHEV semakin meningkat

Just 9 months after starting operations, demand has completely blown past expectations. The Proton eMas 5 has officially become Malaysia's best-selling EV by a huge margin, recording over 8,400 deliveries in the first four months of 2026 alone!

To shorten waiting times for customers, Proton is moving the eMas 5 onto the local assembly line and doubling the factory's annual capacity to 42,000 units, a massive move that's also set to create brand-new local job opportunities.
