Tribute to Muhammad Faris Affandi
Today, I am struggling to find the right words.
This afternoon, we received news that none of us were prepared for. Our teammate, our friend, our brother, Muhammad Faris Affandi, has passed away at the age of 30.
Faris was only with us for less than a year, but somehow, it feels like he had been part of our family for much longer.
Anyone who knew him would remember his generous smile. He was cheerful, funny, easy-going, always so helpful and the kind of person who could make a difficult day feel a little lighter. No matter how hot the weather was, no matter how much he was sweating while working, he would still be laughing, joking and bringing positive energy to everyone around him.
Just yesterday, we were making plans, discussing ideas, talking about the future. Today, all that remains are memories, unfinished conversations and a silence that feels impossible to accept.
Life can be incredibly fragile. Sometimes we get so busy chasing tomorrow that we forget tomorrow is never promised.
Behind every video you watched, every moment we shared, every memory we captured, there was a man who worked quietly, passionately and wholeheartedly. He stood behind the camera so others could shine in front of it. He rarely asked for recognition, but his work spoke louder than words ever could.
Today, the cameras feel a little quieter. The workplace feels a little emptier. And our hearts feel a little heavier.
Faris, thank you for every laugh, every effort, every moment and every memory you gave us. You may have been with us for only a short time, but the impact you left behind will stay with us forever.
On behalf of everyone at Subsonique’s Garage, we extend our deepest condolences to his family and loved ones.
Rest in peace, brother. Or should I say “RACE IN PEACE”…
You were taken too soon, but you will never be forgotten.
Love you, from your Brother Boss Sub…
