Behind these curtains lies the all-new Toyota Vios Hybrid.
🔋 1. Significantly Better Fuel Efficiency
The biggest standout is its hybrid powertrain, combining a 1.5-litre petrol engine with an electric motor and lithium-ion battery. Toyota claims fuel consumption of around 3.6 L/100 km (about 27.7 km/L) — roughly 30 % more efficient than the regular petrol Vios, which can cut running costs significantly for daily commuters. 
🌱 2. Self-Charging Hybrid — No Plugs Needed
Unlike full electric cars, the Vios Hybrid doesn’t require external charging. The battery recharges automatically via regenerative braking and the engine as needed, making it effortless to own for everyday use. 
🧠 3. Smooth, Smart Power Delivery
The hybrid system can operate on the engine alone, the electric motor alone, or both together — depending on driving conditions. This seamless shifting improves both efficiency and refinement in city traffic and on highways. 
🎛 4. More Technology and Interior Comfort
Compared to petrol-only versions, the Hybrid gets a larger 10.1-inch infotainment screen with wireless Apple CarPlay & Android Auto, plus expanded ambient lighting in the cabin for a more premium feel. 
🚗 5. Refined Driving Experience
There are chassis enhancements like additional welding points for rigidity and improved noise insulation (acoustic glass and sound deadening), which make the drive quieter and more comfortable. 
🛡 6. Comprehensive Safety Features
Like other new Vios models, the Hybrid likely comes with Toyota Safety Sense (TSS) — including features such as pre-collision system, adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring, and more — offering better driver assistance and peace of mind. 
🏁 7. Strong Warranties
Toyota Malaysia is backing the Hybrid with a 5-year unlimited-mileage vehicle warranty, plus an 8-year unlimited-mileage warranty on hybrid components (battery, inverter, power electronics). There’s even the option to extend the hybrid warranty further.

For buyers who want a bit more flair and dynamic feel, the GR Sport version adds sporty exterior styling, specially tuned suspension, and interior touches like leather/suede seats ,offering a more engaging look without sacrificing efficiency.
