A dyno test, short for dynamometer test, is basically a way to measure the power output of your car's engine.

A dyno test can help identify issues with things like airflow, fuel delivery, or ignition timing. By comparing your car's results to the manufacturer's specs or to baseline readings from a previous test, mechanics can pinpoint areas where the engine isn't performing as well as it should.
