27th May 1986...

John Farnham’s “The Voice” is buzzing on the radio. The world is still recovering from the trauma of Chernobyl and Challenger. The Nintendo Entertainment System is changing living rooms forever. And somewhere in a Sydney suburb, a young Gerry Khouri proudly holds the registration certificate of Bufori, marking the official birth of a dream.

Four decades later, that dream has travelled across continents, survived storms, broken boundaries, carried stories, built legends, and brought together generations of craftsmen, dreamers, owners, friends, and believers.

Today we look back with pride, with gratitude, and with a little nostalgia in our hearts. Every obstacle overcome, every milestone achieved, every car built, every memory made, has brought us here.
