Final day of Global Automotive and Technology Expo (GATE) 2026 at MITEC Kuala Lumpur on 28th August 2026 which included the closing ceremony. Our gratitude to MITI, MARii and MIDA for leading the way to promote the automotive industry in Malaysia and providing new opportunities to the local automotive ecosystem. A special thanks to the automotive team from MIDA for letting us to be part of their pavilion and connecting us with several car OEMs for business engagements. We would also like express our appreciation to OEMs like Proton, Perodua, Toyota, GWM, Jetour as well as other fellow automotive vendors for visiting our booth and exploring business possibilities during GATE 2026. Let us move forward positively in ensuring a strong and healthy automotive ecosystem in Malaysia. 🙏🙏🙏

We are thankful for the safe arrivals of all moulds and checking fixtures for a new automotive model despite the adverse weather conditions at the mould maker’s location, congestions at ports and Custom clearance. At long last, after weeks of anxieties, we can commence the home line trials of the moulds and checking fixtures at Tomcare’s Tanjung Malim plant for one of our valued clients. So glad that we are still on track in the delivery schedule and much appreciation to the teams from Tomcare, mould maker, material supplier and client for the determination and efforts.

Tomcare Resources is proud to sponsor the 2026 football jerseys for Kelab Sukan Bolasepak Muhibbah Bentong (KSBM Bentong). The football club reaches out to young players from all races in the Bentong district by providing free football coaching and training. Thanks to the club’s Mr Chandran (former Public Bank league player) for his magnificent contribution to the youths there. The jerseys were officially used in the 22nd Under 12 category in the Royal Selangor Club’s Soccer 7s tournament on 1st August 2026.

Tomcare’s CEO, Thomas Lim took part in the Selangor International Business Summit in Bandung, Indonesia from 11th to 12th July 2026 organised by InvestSelangor. He was a panel member in the forum entitled “Beyond Borders: Deepening the Malaysia-Indonesia Supply Chain” at the business summit.
