Why must the oil in the air-conditioning system be replaced from time to time?!

The oil in the air-conditioning system is used to lubricate the compressor.
Over time, this oil:
😭Loses its lubricating ability
😭Gets contaminated by heat, moisture, and debris
😭Can no longer protect moving parts properly

When oil is not replaced:
👍The compressor works under higher friction
👍Internal wear increases
