SS Rover Sdn Bhd is honoured to collaborate with the German-Malaysian Institute (GMI) and the Ministry of Rural and Regional Development (KKDW) in launching the Program Anak Angkat ILKA: ROV Expert.

This initiative marks an important step in strengthening Malaysia’s offshore and subsea talent pipeline by preparing future-ready professionals in Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) operations. Through structured training, industry exposure, and international on-the-job experience, participants will develop the technical competencies required for high-demand subsea roles.

We are proud to support impactful TVET initiatives that open meaningful career pathways and contribute to the growth of Malaysia’s maritime and energy sectors. SS Rover remains committed to nurturing the next generation of ROV specialists and advancing industry-ready workforce development.

On 22 August 2025, IMCA Technical Adviser, Roger Moore carried out an official audit at the Rover Maker and Training Center, focusing on training facilities and competency frameworks of ROV Training. SS Rover's Learning and Development team are thankful for the professional insights. We are now IMCA certified!
