Experiencing connection drops or video lag? Try this. 📶

We’ve introduced Manual Wi-Fi Channel Switching to help improve the stability of wireless mirroring and video transfers—specifically designed for riders facing failed connections, stuttering, or random disconnects.

Why this matters: 5GHz Wi-Fi rules and interference vary by country, phone brand, and environment. "Auto" mode doesn't always pick the winner. Now, you can manually select a cleaner channel to optimize performance for your specific setup.

Availability:
• Available Now: AIO-6 Series (Beta firmware v1.7.5)
• Coming Soon: AIO-5 Series (via future updates)

How to use it: If your connection isn't stable:
1. Select a different Wi-Fi channel in settings.
2. Reconnect CarPlay/Android Auto or retry your video transfer.
3. Test stability. Still laggy? Try another channel. (💡 Tip: If everything is working well, there’s no need to change channels!)

👇 How to install Beta firmware:
1. On your CHIGEE Display, go to Settings → System Update.
2. Enable “Check for beta firmware”.
3. Tap Check update and follow the on-screen instructions.
4. Reboot the device after installation.

CHIGEE Firmware Upgrade Release Announcement

Release Date: 2025/12/25

New Features
1. Added support program for BMW electronic lock mount.
2. Added manual channel switching function. When screen mirroring experiences frequent disconnections, users can manually switch channels to improve mirroring connection stability.

Optimizations & Improvements
1. Optimized action camera connectivity and improved overall connection stability.
2. Fixed a potential connection issue during remote controller pairing.
3. Fixed several other known issues.

Test Version Upgrade Steps

【AIO-5 PLAY System Update Guide】
1. Enter the System Update page on the device and tap “Check Test Version”.
2. After the test version update information appears, tap “Update Now”.
3. Connect to the target Wi-Fi hotspot to proceed with the update.
4. The device will start downloading the firmware. A progress bar will be displayed. Once completed, the device will automatically reboot and upgrade.

Important Notes
1. Do not power off or disconnect power during the upgrade process.
2. If the device relies on an SD card, please ensure the storage card is functioning properly with normal read/write capability.
3. This test firmware is a development version and is recommended for testing environments only.
