YES! You can charge your Denza D9 using a 3-pin charger, but with some important considerations:

⚡ Denza D9 Charging Compatibility ⚡

AC charging up to 11kW (Type 2, 3-phase)

DC fast charging up to 166kW (CCS2)

While it’s optimized for faster charging, a 3-pin socket works for emergencies or light daily use. Charging this way delivers about 2.3kW — a full charge could take 40+ hours.

🔌 To use a 3-pin socket:

You’ll need a portable EV charger (EVSE) with a Type 2 connector.

⚠️ Important:

- Use a dedicated circuit (don’t overload)

- Avoid extension cords

- Make sure the socket is in good condition

For regular use, it’s better to install a proper home wallbox charger. In fact, early D9 buyers in Malaysia got a 22kW wallbox with installation for free! Our FREE WALLBOX promotion is still available & ongoing, contact Fisya to grab this chance ASAP!
