Kita Bersama - Petron Service Station Dealers in Penang Strengthen Safety at PPDK
Through โ360ยฐ Kita Bersamaโ, Petron, in collaboration with Jabatan Kebajikan Masyarakat Negeri Pulau Pinang (JKMN Pulau Pinang), is strengthening support for the OKU community across Penang by enhancing safety and security at 24 Pusat Pemulihan Dalam Komuniti (PPDK) across Penang.
Following the success of last yearโs โKalendar Kita Bersamaโ programme, this yearโs initiative received generous support from 47 Petron service station dealers in Penang, who contributed more than RM60,000 towards the installation of 96 CCTV units across the centres.
The initiative aims to create safer and more conducive spaces for learning, rehabilitation and community engagement, while providing greater peace of mind for participants, caregivers, educators and visitors.
The programme was officially launched at PPDK Seberang Jaya by YB Puan Lim Hui Ying, Deputy Minister of Women, Family and Community Development, together with representatives from government agencies, community partners and our Petron dealer network.
