Relying solely on mechanics can be costly due to their high service fees, which are necessary for them to meet their daily commitments of 200 to 300. Often, our income doesn't even match theirs, which is why it's worth reflecting on the benefits of doing things ourselves (DIY). By taking the initiative, we can save money, especially when it comes to finding spare parts.

Mechanics typically source parts from local shops, which may not always offer the best prices. However, by doing some research and leveraging our ability to communicate in English, we can import cheaper spare parts from international suppliers. This language barrier can be a challenge for many mechanics, limiting their options to local and more expensive parts.

Moreover, when it comes to troubleshooting, mechanics often rely on trial and error, which can lead to additional costs. By learning to handle minor repairs ourselves, we can avoid these extra expenses and gain valuable skills in the process.

This reflection emphasizes the importance of DIY as a means to manage costs effectively, especially when professional services and parts are becoming increasingly expensive.
