Volkswagen Golf MK8 R – UK Spec 🇬🇧

Due to the factory-equipped OPF/GPF system on the UK-spec Golf MK8 R, much of the iconic Volkswagen exhaust note is muted straight from the factory.

Our customer wanted a more engaging exhaust sound without ECU tuning, so we installed the IPE Cat-Back Exhaust System, while fully retaining the factory valvetronic function.

✅ No ECU remap required
✅ No remote controller needed
✅ 100% factory valve operation
✅ Plug & Play installation

The exhaust valves continue to operate exactly as Volkswagen intended, switching seamlessly between comfort and performance modes using the original factory controls.

While it won‘t be as loud as a fully tuned setup, the improvement in sound over the stock exhaust is immediately noticeable.
