2nd trip to Hatyai this year
Posting my new FC after trying my new API SQ 0w30 fully syn engine oil. Overall im very satisfied with the results... engine quieter than usual, fc improving slightly but engine more responsive . Speed steady at 110-125kmh. Highway conditions no jammed ...smooth drive. Stopped at Gopeng once.

Result : travelled 481km
: fuel usage 22 liters
: avg FC 22km/ liter

Good morning to all the Mazdarian. Million thanks to all the support and guidance you all gave to me...appreciated it.
Today would like to share a tip how to remove stubborn carbon deposit at the top of the engine piston.
You can get any fuel additives containing PEA formula AKA Polyetheramine which has proven significantly reduce carbon buildup at the injectors and piston top.
For non direct injection engine, it also proven to clean up the intake valves too.
Here's the video where I recorded just now and you can see the smiley face at the top piston. Carbon deposit significantly cleaned esp at the injector spray area... and overall its quite effective for removing stubborn carbon buildup.

KL to JB back to KL bukit jalil
Avg 110kmh - 120kmh...
Total km 668km
Total fuel usage 34.7liters
Avg fuel consumption 19.2km per liter.
Still acceptable for this old lady..😍

Hello to all my beloved Mazdarian. Today marked my mazda3 12th yrs birthday as I welcomed her from 3rd March, 2014. As im bringing her together with my family to hatyai for CNY holiday. As usual, I'm still and always will perform a fuel economy test to my car. Here's the result.
Total km travelled 489km
Total fuel usage 24.06 liters
Total consumption for this 12 yrs old mazda 3 is 20km per liter
Not bad for an old lady with a 2000cc engine

Today must let all the Mazdarian know your car replacing batt procedure. PLS.... pls pls pls off the engine before changing the Q85 batt. Today one case where the owner replacing a new batt at home ( delivered by batt man) and donno how the engine electronic shorted and check light on. The result, the PCM system affected.
So... if they tells you the memory will gone, bla bla, bla... dont care. It's safe to replace the batt while the engine off. Just tune back the radio station, adjust back the clock and resetting back the power window. Remember, our car equipped with istop system is totally different with others older cars without istop system.
For those who didn't " kena", you are very lucky....
