Why are Arai helmets modelled on the humble egg?

For more than 30 years we have had belief in nature's strongest shape and its characteristics that we seek for optimal rider protection: rounder, smoother, stronger

Energy absorption is integral to the role of a helmet, but by preventing impact energy from entering in the first place, Arai helmets offer even greater head protection.

By fine-tuning our EPS liner to fit the shape of the human head, we are able to maintain the egg shape and the incredible strength it offers, giving even more Glancing Off performance in the event of an impact.

We have recently received numerous reports and feedback indicating that individuals have been deceived and scammed by an account on TikTok. This specific page seems to be a fraudulent account using the name Arai Helmet Malaysia.

We wish to clarify that we DO NOT have such an account on TikTok and urge everyone to be extra vigilant when engaging in online transactions. Illustrated vibrant colors with jungle inspired themed. Definitely a head turner. Instead of the conventional Arai logo, Jungle 2 designed by Drudi Performance with huge Arai logos at both sides of the helmet.

Arai Quantic - ECE R22.06 approved standard, round shell with smooth finishing around the surface. Enhanced the Glancing Off features, to minimize the impact on the helmet while the helmet slides across obstacles without getting snapped on the road surfaces, thanks to its egg shape round shell.

Arai GT Spoiler

Replacement part for Arai Quantic / Astro-GX. It is even compatible (optional) to Arai Concept-X/XE, thanks to Arai natural egg shape. Adding style to your helmet.

A helmet serves only 1 purpose which is to protect the rider's head. Arai helmet outlook may seem to haven't changed in time. But the technology behind, the shell is unlike any other helmet. Because Arai helmet didn't pursue to pass only mandatory standards, but we're seeking protection beyond just lab regulatory guidelines.

Which is why Arai helmets are different from others. To us, protection comes before anything else.

Peripheral Belt Technology

Like the steel hoops around a barrel, holding the staves together, the Peripheral Belt helps maintain shell integrity at the critical forehead area.

Considering the forehead area is a critical impact point, so close to the large eyeport opening, Arai developed the Peripheral Belt to reinforce the shell without adding extra shell thickness or weight.

The Belts are woven in-house at Arai, but not all belts are created equal. Arai has found that they can use different weaves to tune the belt to perform exactly as needed depending on shell size and helmet purpose.
