Not something you see every day.

Our TOM’S W123 widebody Toyota MR-S recently went through a colour change from silver to white, and the new look completely changes the character of the car.

The wider body lines, vents and overall shape of the W123 kit stand out much more clearly now, while still keeping that clean period-correct TOM’S look.

𝗧𝗢𝗬𝗢𝗧𝗔 𝗚𝗧𝟴𝟲 𝗦𝗧𝗬𝗟𝗘 𝗖𝗕 — 𝗘𝗡𝗚𝗜𝗡𝗘 𝗢𝗜𝗟 𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗞 𝗥𝗘𝗣𝗔𝗜𝗥

Toyota GT86 Style CB in for normal service at Vision Auto, but during inspection we found engine oil leaking mainly from the rocker cover and oil pan area.

After checking and updating the owner, we went on with the proper repair — engine out, old leaking gaskets replaced, and preventive maintenance carried out while everything was accessible.

For oil leaks like this, it’s always better to get it sorted early before it gets worse or starts affecting other surrounding components.

1JZ swapped Toyota Hilux Surf in for engine oil leak checking at Vision Auto.

For swapped cars like this, leak repair is not always as straightforward as a normal factory setup. Extra checks are needed around the engine, seals, covers, fittings, and surrounding components to properly trace where the leak is coming from before getting the job done.

From here, we’ll update the owner and advise the next step before continuing with the repair.
