Right after covid, I had the privilege to direct the first 3 episodes of a motorcycle documentary series for TVS shot at Sabah & Sarawak, hosted by Muddy Butt, Tiny Jen & Silas Dema Michael. Our team has fun throughout the shoot, and today we found out that the documentary won silver at the Spotlight Documentary Awards.

Our team recently collaborated with USM on their INNO4C projects to produce 4 videos. The projects purpose was to empower the bottom billion and provide them with innovations to help build a sustainable income for the communities.

We travelled to about 5 locations to capture these communities working on producing locally made belacan, peppers, oysters and intricately-made crafts using kelarai strips.

Synopsis - A burnt out lawyer, Jia Yi, picked up big biking during the lockdown. She fell in love with her new hobby which allowed her to experience a different aspect of life outside of the office and court room.. She is now inspired to go on her first road tripto meet people. In order to encourage more women to embrace their dreams, Tiny Jen, a special guest joining part of the journey in Sabah. Jen is a seasoned lady rider who is only 152cm tall, earning her the nickname “Tiny Jen”. But Jen is in no way small with herriding accomplishment. Her riding adventures include challenging riders to the highest motorcycle pass in the World at Khardung La at 18,380ft above sea level. Jen is the brand ambassador of many big names in motorcycling including Motorex, Triumph, Alpinestars, Shoei. They both kick start their journey from the northern part of Sabah, Kudat doing lots of different activities and meeting new people along their journey.
