Today in the workshop, a BMW X5 (F15) came in with hybrid system warnings and reduced electric performance. After running a full diagnostic, we identified the issue as a faulty high voltage hybrid battery module.

From the owner’s perspective, it started with reduced electric driving range, frequent switching to the combustion engine, and warning messages related to the hybrid drivetrain. In some cases, charging would stop prematurely, and overall fuel efficiency dropped noticeably. The vehicle still drove, but the hybrid benefits were clearly compromised.

From our side, it required a detailed high voltage system diagnostic using specialized equipment. The battery pack in these models consists of multiple modules, and failure in even one unit can affect overall performance. After isolating the weak module, we carefully removed the battery pack, replaced the faulty unit, and carried out balancing and recalibration to restore proper function.

Today in the workshop, a Range Rover Vogue 4.4 came in with transmission related concerns. After a detailed diagnostic, we traced the issue to a burnt transmission control unit (TCU).

From the owner’s perspective, it started with erratic gear shifts, delayed engagement when shifting from park to drive, and occasional transmission warning messages on the dashboard. In some cases, the vehicle would go into limp mode, limiting performance and making driving unpredictable especially in traffic or during longer journeys.

From our side, it required a comprehensive electronic diagnostic scan and inspection of the transmission control system. The TCU on these models is highly sensitive to heat and voltage irregularities. In this case, internal circuit damage had occurred, likely due to prolonged heat exposure or an electrical fault.
