Mercedes-Benz GLC250 W253 | Front Suspension & Driveshaft Repair

This Mercedes-Benz GLC250 came to our workshop with abnormal noise from the front suspension when driving over uneven roads.

After a road test and detailed inspection, we found:

❌ Torn lower-arm bushes
❌ Damaged strut-arm bushes
❌ Cracked driveshaft boot with grease leakage

As grease had already escaped from the driveshaft boot, dirt and contaminants may have entered the CV joint and caused internal wear. For a safer and more reliable repair, we recommended replacing the complete driveshaft assembly.

🔧 Repairs completed:

✅ Lower arms replaced
✅ Strut arms replaced
✅ Complete driveshafts replaced

After installation, the suspension and driveshaft systems were thoroughly checked to ensure everything was correctly fitted and functioning properly.

✅ Air suspension compressor replacement
✅ Both rear air spring replacements

This BMW X5 came to us with a common air suspension issue: the rear of the vehicle would sink completely after being parked overnight and could no longer rise back to its normal height.

After a thorough diagnosis, we found that the air suspension compressor had failed and both rear air springs were leaking.

Replacing only the compressor would not provide a long-term solution. The leaking air springs would cause the new compressor to work harder and run more frequently, eventually leading to premature failure.

For a proper and reliable repair, we replaced both rear air springs together with a new air suspension compressor. The air suspension system is now operating normally, and the vehicle has returned to its correct ride height.
