SECURITY DEPOSIT

Security Deposit as a guarantee of proper usage of the vehicle for the entire duration of the contract. Your deposit amount will vary by duration of rental. Amount of deposit will be charged upon reservation with payment of rental fee. The deposit is will be refunded after 15 days car returned if no damage is notified and no traffic offences appear during the rental.

Should I Purchase Collision Damage Waiver (CDW)?

Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) is the term used in the car hire industry to indicate whether the rental vehicle is covered for the cost of repairs in the event of damage (an excess will usually apply). Generally, the rate will include Vehicle Damage Cover and Vehicle Theft Cover. This covers for the cost of repairs or replacement for any damage to or theft of the LINKAR vehicle. CDW will only be effective subject to availability of a police report and acceptance by the Insurance company as provided in the policy. However, our customer can not eliminate the excess completely. The rental rates include full indemnity for accidental damage to third party property and bodily injuries.

The customer also liable for a Non-Waiverable Damage Excess for Group A (RM500), Group B (RM1,500), C (RM2,000) and D (RM2,500).The insurance will not cover for damage due to negligence, tyre punctures and burst tyres, fuel errors, lack of electricity because of forgotten turned off electrical devices, loss or damage to the vehicle accessories.
