No engine flushing is needed, and it works well with your existing oil type.

For high mileage or older engines (75,000 miles and above):

If your engine has been using conventional oil for a long time or hasn’t been well maintained, it’s best to:
• Start with shorter oil change intervals at first
• Let the synthetic oil gradually clean the engine
• Then move to normal extended intervals

Why?
