In-car PS5 and RHD! This is the Hyundai Ioniq 9 that's currently being previewed at the Penang Autoshow - a sign that it's to launch in Malaysia soon?
Local specs are not known for the time being but this is a 3-row BEV SUV, offering up to 620 km range (WLTP). It comes in both rear- and all-wheel drive options, and the performance variant has up to 320 kW (435 PS).
The second-row seats also swivel, allowing occupants in the rear to face each other. The Ioniq 9 also adds a slidable Universal Island 2.0 console. It’s a movable centre console, allowing front occupants to easily move between the left and right front seats. The bidirectional armrests can be opened from the front and rear, allowing easy access to the console from the second row.
