2001 Mexican Spec Peugeot 407 - 60602R

Hello friends

Here we have forbidden fruit.

This is a 2001 Mexican Spec Peugeot 407 4 door sedan.

Under the hood is a 2.2-liter four-cylinder engine mated to a 5 speed manual transmission.

The car has traveled 97,646 KM (60,674 Miles) in the past 25 years. That is only 2400 miles per year.

The only imperfection I can see on this car is the grille which is broken.

Even if a replacement cannot be found, these days, something like this can be repaired.

This was one of the bigger cars Peugeot sold in Mexico this year.

It says right on the back "Uber Cool". You have to believe the car when it tells you that.

The car comes with its original invoice as its ownership document so you can see all of its previous owners.

It will need a set of new tires, for safety purposes.

The interior features grey cloth buckets with colored striped inserts. The rear seat matches the front.

1988 Mexican Spec Nissan 720 Carry All - 60602P

Hello friends

Have you ever seen anything like this?

This is a 1988 Nissan 720 Carry All.

In Mexico the 720 style truck was used until the 1993 model year. The Hardbody D21 came out in 1994.

A conversion company grafted the rear part of the truck onto a pick up.

Keep in mind this was a work truck. This one is in pretty decent condition with that in mind.

Under the hood is a 1800 cc over head valve J Series engine.

The US trucks used an over head cam engine because of the freeway system the US has.

You can see this truck still needs some work.

It needs a matching set of wheels.

The front bumper needs to be replaced by an original unit. It is kind of hard to find them new though.

I know you are going to say this looks like an early Pathfinder, but it is not that.

The rear door was fabricated by the conversion company and has pretty good fitment.

There are roof lights plus rails on the roof in case you want to put luggage up there.

The left outer door handle needs to be installed.

The front seats are black and red vinyl. They really stand out in the beige interior.

It needs other minor work although it does run and drive well.

The truck will come with a new set of tires. If you want matching wheels we can arrange that as well.

1981 Mexican Spec Chevrolet Chevelle - 60602M

Hello friends

Here we have a 1981 Chevrolet Chevelle.

Before you say there were no Chevelles in 1981, there were in Mexico,

There were 3 models of the Malibu sold in 1981 in Mexico.

They were the bottom of the line, Chevelle, the middle of the line, Malibu, and the top of the line Malibu Landau with a V8.

You can see the factory emblems that say CHEVELLE on each quarter panel and on the dash.

Under the hood is a 292 CID inline 6 mated to a 3 on the tree transmission.

This car is as clean as they come.

The silver paint is in decent condition. You can see from the pictures this is an original silver car and that it has no rust.

The interior has had some work. The seats were done in a lighter blue than the door panels and the dash was covered as well.

No matter how well you care for one of these Malibus, the dash will always crack.

It has a factory heater but no factory air, as you might expect. The heater was an option in this year as well.

Look at the trunk floor picture. It isn't getting any more solid than that.

For you younger guys in the rust belt, this is what a stock trunk floor should look like in one of these.

The car is equipped with power steering and power brakes plus it has electronic ignition.

The electronic ignition might seem normal to you, but Mexico started using it much later than the US.

Look at how clean the engine compartment is. It is hard to believe this car is 45 years old.

The car is riding on its original steel wheels with its dog dish hub caps still in place.

The culture in Mexico is more about leaving them stock, and therefore dependable, as a daily driver.

That is what we have here.

1985 Mexican Spec Ford B200 Carry All - 60602K

This is a 1985 Mexican Spec Ford B200 Carry All.

Under the hood is a Mexican 302 V8 mated to a 4 speed manual transmission.

The transmission in this truck, being a 1985 model, is the 3 speed with over drive rather than the granny gear transmission.

The truck has a factory heater but I can't say it is still hooked up.

This truck is straight all the way around. Look closely at the pictures to see how well the panel gaps line up.

The interior features 3 red vinyl bench seats. This is a 7 seat truck.

This truck has 2 seat belts and both are shoulder belts for the front seat.

The rear seats do not have seat belts.

The off road tires look to be in acceptable condition.

This truck is located in the southern part of the country, close to the port in Veracruz.

If you live on the East Coast this truck could easily be shipped to Florida from where it is.

Keep in mind this is not a restored example of one of these.

This is a daily driver so it will need maintenance and maybe a few repairs.

At the rear you can see one of the flat glass windows needs to be replaced. Any glass maker can do that.

Also at the rear the door handle is missing. I am sure one can be found easily.

The windshield also may need to be replaced, but it is a standard F150 windshield.

The windshield could probably be done before delivery.

Please look closely at all of the pictures to see its actual condition.

1981 Mexican Spec Ford B200 Carry All - 60602I

Hello friends

Here we have a 1981 Mexican Spec Ford B200 Carry All.

This truck started life has a half cab and chassis and a conversion company made what you see here.

Under the hood is a Mexican 302 mated to a 4 speed transmission.

This one does have a granny gear as the first gear.

It has a mis-matched set of wheels, however, we could find a set of wheels for the truck, if requested, before the new tires go on.

The price will include new tires for safety purposes.

This is a 3 door model.

The front seats are covered in red cloth. The seats do have a little wear.

This is a daily driver after all.

In the rear there is a wood floor and there are no seats.

That leaves it open for you to customize it any way you want.

Do you remember the '70's custom vans?

You can put a sofa bed back there and swivel chairs and make it as plush as you want.

Out back are barn doors and a heavy duty bumper from a dealer in Texas.

This truck was born with no factory heater so keep that in mind if you live in a cold climate.

There is also no radio in the truck.

It is clear there is no rust in this truck. That puts you way ahead of the curve to customize this truck.

1986 Mexican Spec Ford Bronco 2 Wheel Drive - 60602H

Hello friends

Have you ever seen a 2 wheel drive full sized Bronco?

This is a 1986 Mexican Spec Ford Bronco 2WD.

Actually this is a 1986 Ford B200 Carry All with the Bronco package.

Under the hood is a Mexican 302 mated to an automatic transmission.

The truck has been restored which means it was painted and the interior was done.

The truck will come with its original seats and a roll bar.

The Chevrolet K5 Blazer and the Ramcharger did offer 2WD examples in the US, but Ford never did.

To get a 2WD you have to get the Mexican version.

The tires and wheels are also new on the truck, 5 of them.

The only difference from the US Spec model is the placement of the gasoline filler neck, and the no emission equipment on the engine.

On the US Spec trucks, that would be behind the left rear wheel while on the Mexican spec truck it is between the left door and wheel.

The roof is removable as any other 1986 Broncos is.

It has a factory heater but no factory air.

This is a 5 passenger truck with 2 in the front buckets and 3 in the rear seat.

Considering what these Bull nose Broncos bring, this truck is a bargain.

Not everybody needs 4WD.

1983 Mexican Spec Ford Mustang Notchback - 60602G

Hello friends

Here we have a 1983 Mexican Spec Ford Mustang Nothback.

Under the hood is a Mexican 302 mated to a 3 speed automatic transmission.

This was the second to last year the Mustang was made in Mexico. 1984 was the last year.

The two tone grey and silver looks oddly good on this car.

The wheels are aftermarket 5 spoke units wrapped in performance tires which are in decent condition.

It has a complete custom interior which features maroon vinyl in a diamond pattern.

The door panels were covered to match the seats.

A wood steering wheel has been installed in place of the plastic stock design.

The car features cold air conditioning and power windows with center console mounted switches.

The gear shift lever has also been upgraded.

A newer style stereo system is in the car with speakers in the rear.

In this car, you have a mix of elegance and performance.

1999 Mexican Spec Chevrolet LUV Crew Cab - 60602B

Here is a 1999 Mexican Spec Chevrolet LUV Crew Cab.

Under the hood is a 2.3L 4 cylinder engine mated to a 5 speed manual transmission.

The truck is equipped with factory air which is not common for these LUV trucks.

The truck has Isuzu underpinnings as did the earlier LUV trucks.

This one has traveled 177,466 KM (110,272 Miles) in the past 27 years and is in decent condition.

A roll bar is protecting the bed with lights at the top.

This is not a restored truck, but rather a daily driver that is still in use.

The interior features a grey cloth front bench with a grey cloth bench in the rear to match.

Both seats are in good condition but need a deep clean.

These trucks were made to work and work they have.

The first 2 digits of the VIN are 8G which means the truck was built in Chile.

The truck is missing one wheel cap. We might be able to find one before delivery.

The front has a big grille protector. Nobody will mess with you in this truck.

1991 Mexican Spec Dodge Ramcharger 4X4 - 60603I

Would you like to have an almost new 1991 Dodge Ramcharger 4X4?

This is a 1991 Mexican Spec Dodge Ramcharger 4X4.

Under the hood is a 360 V8 mated to an automatic overdrive transmission.

This is a Mexican Spec truck which means it was built and sold new in Mexico.

Almost all Ramchargers sold in Mexico were 2 wheel drive so to find an almost new 4X4 is a miracle.

This truck has only 29,000 KM (18,131 Miles) on it. The condition of the truck proves this.

The interior is upholstered in red cloth and look as new as the day it was first sold.

This is the black out model. The grille is blacked out as are the emblems.

Stealth is what they call it, I think.

The truck features power windows, power locks, tilt wheel and cold air conditioning.

This truck does not have cruise control, as most of the Mexican trucks did not.

The original AM/FM cassette stereo is in place and works well.

A picture of the speedometer is included to show the 29,180 KM original.

This truck has been garaged most of its life.

For the asking price here you might get a 4X4 Ramcharger with 150,000 miles on it.

We all know this truck is worth much more than the asking, but this is the price as listed below.

1979 Mexican Spec Valiant Volare - 60502E

Hello friends

The cleanest F-Body.

This is a 1979 Mexican Spec Valiant Volare.

Under the hood is a 225 slant 6 with a 2 barrel carburetor which was called the Super Six.

This one is an automatic with a column mounted shift lever.

This car is equipped with a factory heater as well as factory air conditioning.

Air conditioning is a rare option in Mexico.

Look at how clean the engine is as is the engine compartment.

The dark blue looks great on this car and the accent stripes make the car.

The interior features a blue cloth bench seat with a matching blue cloth rear seat.

The interior is in excellent condition, as is the rest of the car.

It is riding on what look like black painted wagon wheels with chrome trim rings and center caps.

The wheels are perfect for this car.

The tires are also in great condition.

The stories we heard about these cars was the workers didn't pay much attention to their work while building these in the U.S. factory.

This car was built in Mexico with Mexican made parts and as they made fewer cars over all, more attention was paid to each car.

You can see there is no rust anywhere on this car, it is as solid as can be.

I challenge you to find a nicer, cleaner example of one of these for any price.
