1964 Mexican Spec Chevrolet Suburban - 60827J

Hello friends

Here we have a 1964 Mexican Spec Chevrolet Suburban. This is a 2 wheel drive model.

Under the hood is an inline 6 cylinder engine mated to a 4 speed manual transmission.

This truck has been restored in the best sense of the word.

The red paint is impressive on this truck. The white roof sets off the red nicely.

Both chrome bumpers are shiny, as they should be.

What looks like defects in the paint on the left side are reflections of buildings around the truck.

All three rows of seats have been re-upholstered in red and white vinyl with black cloth inserts.

The original steering wheel is in place and keep in mind this truck has no factory heater.

A newer style stereo was installed in the dash, meaning it was cut to fit it.

It has a wood floor front to back.

This is one of the nicest 1964 Suburbans I have seen in a long time.

I am sure you know most of these were worked into the ground.

Under the hood, a 2 pot master cylinder has been installed for safety reasons.

Also under the hood you can see it has HEI electronic ignition for easier starting and better gas mileage.

A cleaning under the hood would make the engine look like the rest of the truck. It has been in storage for a while.

If you are planning on customizing one of these you would be way ahead of the game to start with a truck like this.

2001 Mexican Spec Dodge Ramcharger Base - 60827N

Hello friends

This is a 2001 Dodge Ramcharger Base model.

These trucks were made for sale only in Mexico for the 1999 - 2001 model years.

There were three trim levels. The base model, the SLT and the SLT Plus.

Under the hood is a 5.2L Magnum V8 mated to an automatic transmission.

The truck has traveled 161,000 KM (100,040 Miles) which is 90% highway miles. That is only 4,000 miles per year.

This truck is exceptionally clean and has had only 2 owners.

The silver paint is in great shape which is rare on one of these.

The grey cloth interior is also in excellent condition.

It has roll up windows. These base models usually didn't have many power options.

It does have front air but not rear air.

The truck is riding on Ram chrome wheels and the tires have 75% of the tread left.

It has the factory receiver hitch out back with the connector for the trailer lights.

The dash is in good condition top and face.

The factory stereo is still in the dash.

This truck won't need one dollar to be spent on it after it lands in the US.

1976 Mexican Spec Volkswagen Brasilia - 60828C

Hello friends

This is a 1976 Mexican Spec Volkswagen Brasilia.

This was a Brazilian design that was allowed to be made in Mexico.

Out back is a 1600 cc Type 1 4 cylinder engine which is mated to a 4 speed manual transmission.

The Ruby Red paint is amazing on this car.

The front grey vinyl and cloth bucket seats are like brand new.

The rear seat was upholstered to match the front.

Look how clean it is under the frunk. There is no wiring mess to deal with.

While the car is very nice there are still a few details to take care of, like the paint on the pedals.

How did paint get on the pedals? I haven't a clue.

The original radio in the dash works as it should.

The car comes with its original invoice as its ownership document so you can see where this car has been from day one.

It does not have carpet in the car. We can see what we can do about that if requested.

This car is well on its way to being the nicest Brasilia around.

1983 Mexican Spec Ford Fairmont Elite II - 60827I

Hello friends

Here we have a 1983 Mexican Spec Ford Fairmont Elite II.

This was the top of the line Fairmont for this last year of production.

In 1983, Ford Mexico used the 3.8L V6 in the base model Fairmont but this top of the line got the Mexican 302.

This model was available with a column shifted automatic or a floor shifted unit.

This car has the floor shifter.

The car has traveled only 120,000 KM (74,564 Miles) in the past 43 years. That is only 1,780 miles per year.

In 1982 the Elite II came out with the Granada style front end to set off the top of the line car from the base model.

This particular example has its original interior in excellent condition. Because it has the floor shifter it has front bucket seats.

The dash has a few cracks, but they all do.

A wood steering wheel has been installed in place of the plastic one. Upgrade? You decide.

Being Mexico's luxury model, the rear seat has a fold down arm rest.

An aftermarket stereo system has been installed with speakers on the rear package shelf.

It does have factory air and a heater, which is still hooked up and is a good sign.

You can see from the shot of the trunk floor and the chassis, this car has no rust.

Notice the vents on the C-Pillar. Those are functional vents that can be opened or closed from a switch in the back seat.

While this car is not perfect, it is very nice.

Imagine the comments from the "experts" at your local car show with the Granada front and Mercury Zephyr rear.

1973 Mexican Spec Volkswagen Combi - 60827F

Hello friends

Now what do we have here?

Here we have a 1973 Mexican Spec Volkswagen Combi.

Out back is a 1600 cc type 1 engine mated to a 4 speed transmission.

As you can see a few modifications have been done to this one.

Let's start with the exterior.

The paint starts with dark purple at the top and fades down to pink and back to dark pink at the very bottom.

An air dam was added under the front bumper. Side skirts have also been added.

The upper grille is chrome, that adds 2 horsepower right there.

Six auxiliary lights have been added to the front.

The windshield was tinted way down. That might need to be removed to be legal in the US.

The headlights now have eyebrows.

The side windows have visors on them to block the sun and rain.

The 17 inch wheels have been painted to match the pink paint. The tires need to be replaced.

There are a few stickers on the van. They can be removed if requested.

Of course it has mud flaps for the rear tires.

At the rear are more auxiliary lights. The tail lights are smoked to look cool.

Out back is a 1600 cc air cooled type 1 4 cylinder engine mated to a 4 speed manual transmission.

Ok, now to the interior. The headliner and door panels are covered in red plaid.

The wood steering wheel was made by Nardi

There are more stickers inside. It is very busy in there.

The front seats have black vinyl covers on them.

It does have a stereo system in it and a very large speaker box in the wayback plus more speakers in the passenger area.

In the rear, there is a seat also covered in black vinyl.

You also have a lighted license plate surround in the back. I would disconnect that for the reflection off the windshield.

The timing belt was just replaced on the engine, which is the most important part of this van.

The clutch was just replaced so no worries there.

To top it all off there is underglow on this van, so you can look cool even at night.

There is no rust on this van. Take a good look at the pictures. This van was done some years back so the paint is not new.

There is a screen hanging from the ceiling in the roof which is part of the audio system.

Needless to say you will have all the eyes on you at your local car show.

For the asking here you couldn't build this van as it is of course you might not want to.

1982 Mexican Spec Ford Fairmont Squire Wagon - 60827D

Hello friends

This is a 1982 Mexican Spec Ford Fairmont Squire Wagon.

Under the hood is a Mexican 302 V8 mated to an automatic transmission.

This is not a restored car, however, it is a daily driver.

The engine runs smooth and the transmission shifts as it should.

The dark blue paint looks good against the wood grain.

The interior features front and rear bench seats covered in blue vinyl with plaid inserts.

The car has a factory heater but it is not connected, so it might need a heater core.

There is no factory air in this one.

You might notice a few Mercury Zephyr trim parts on this car, for example, the grille is from the Mercury as are the fenders with the vents.

Mercury was not sold in Mexico at the time so they mixed and matched the parts and sold the car under the Ford name.

The price will include a new set of tires for safety reasons. The tires that are on it are old and are cracking.

It has never been hit as you can tell from the panel gaps.

1993 Mexican Spec Volkswagen Beetle - 60827C

This is a 1993 Mexican Spec Volkswagen Beetle. MexiBeetle if you like.

Out back is a carbureted 1600 cc 4 cylinder mated to a 4 speed manual transmission.

This brown car has ben two-tined with the beige on the doors to make it stand out in the Beetle crowd.

Beetle Super Beetle turn signals have been added to the front fenders.

Additional light have been added to the front of the car. You can see very well to the front of this car.

A few accessories have been added to this car such as the luggage rack on the roof as well as the visor over the windshield.

The metal eyebrows on the headlights is a matter of taste.

It is riding on gold 8 spoke wheels with good tires.

The car comes with a new battery as well as a stereo system.

The spare tire is under the hood in case you need it.

It comes with its original invoice as its ownership document so you can see where the car has been all of its life.

1981 Mexican Spec Ford Fairmont Squire Wagon - 60629Q

Hello friends

Here we have a 1981 Mexican Spec Ford Fairmont Squire Wagon.

Under the hood is a Mexican 302 V8 mated to an automatic transmission.

These Squire wagons was also available with a 3 speed manual on the floor.

This is not a restored car, as you can tell. It is still in daily driver duty.

Even though it has TURBO emblems on the sides, it has no turbo under the hood.

This car has factory air and it blows cold.

The in-dash radio works as it should.

The price listed below will include a new set of tires. The wheels covers are inside the car.

The red cloth interior is original to the car and in excellent condition.

The wood trim is also in nice condition.

There is one small dent on the body line on the hood. If you are familiar with these cars you know that is common on these.

The car really needs a complete detail.

I am seeing the prices of these Fairmonts going up and up. When you see a decent car like this for this price you should jump on it.

1985 Mexican Spec Datsun Sakura - 60827B

Hello friends

This is a 1985 Mexican Spec Datsun Sakura.

In the US, this car was called Nissan 200SX. Also in the US, in this year, they had changed the design of the car.

This design was sold in Mexico until the next year 1986.

Under the hood is a J-Series 1800 cc overhead valve 4 cylinder engine mated to a 5 speed manual transmission.

This car has recently been painted maroon, the original color.

The interior was also just done in beige cloth.

The wheels are original to the car but they are missing their center caps.

I can't believe I am saying this, but, it might be a good idea to put an after market set of wheels on this car.

The tail lights don't match. This is common as the lights are no longer made aftermarket. I am sure they can be found on Ebay.

They are both tail lights from the Sakura, just from different year models.

The original stereo is still in the dash and a newer style has been installed right next to it.

On the steering wheel it says Nissan and on the hood emblem it has a capital D, so you can call this car a Datsun and a Nissan.

The price below includes new tires.

This is a clean example of a hard to find car. Most of these do not look this good.

1994 Mexican Spec Ford Thunderbird SC - 60827A

Hello friends

This is a 1994 Mexican Spec Ford Thunderbird SC.

Under the hood is a 3.8L Super Charged V6 mated to a 5 speed manual transmission.

This was the last year the manual transmission was used on these cars.

The Cayman Green paint is in really nice condition

This color is very rare on these cars. Most of these were silver, red or black.

It has traveled 114,359 KM (71,059 Miles) in the past 32 years. That is only 2,220 miles per year.

The car is riding on its original wheels wrapped in new Michelin tires.

The car has two faults. There is a crack in the dash and the front seats have been redone in darker grey vinyl where the original leather failed.

The rear seat is still the original grey leather.

This color was fairly common on the base and LX Thunderbirds but is highly rare on the SC. You can research that for yourself.

This car was made in Mexico and has always been in Mexico.

It has all the power accessories including dual power seats.
