2 for 3 today on striped marlin releases. Still in the lead for 1st place in day 2 of the 85th annual International Light Tackle Tournament! New 3 man team of angler’s each day as they rotate to different boats in this format for the 4 day tournament. Let’s see how we do on Thursday and Friday for the final two days. Tournament layday tomorrow, but we have a charter so we will still be fishing on the tournament day off.

We won the first place in day 1 of the 85th annual International Light Tackle Tournament today! 4 striped marlin, 1 sailfish and 1 dorado.

This is an invitational tournament. Format is three anglers per team, who rotate and are assigned boats by ILTTA. The schedule is two days fishing, one lay day, followed by two more fishing days.

We offer 1/2 day, full day both bare boat and all inclusive, plus our multi-day trips up to the Finger Bank and Mag Bay. Also available for all tournaments.

All top of the line reels by Shimano in all line classes, custom Melton International rods, Suffix line, Aftco Saiko Pro forocarbon, Bait Master ballyhoo with Ringer Swivels, Squidnation Flippy Floppy’s with squid chains and squid and flap dredges off electric bridge teaser reels and LP electric dredge outfits, Black Bart and other top of the line Hawaiian lures to target tuna to wahoo to stripers and blue marlin. All top notch gear paired with fully outfitted Furuno electronics with scanning sonar.. Rupp double spreader outriggers. 8 striped marlin released for our charter today!

We had the charter clients leader their striped marlin at their request today. We are always happy and encourage our charter guests to participate as much or as little as they want when fishing with us. Just let us know, it’s your charter. The goal is have a fun! Rig some ballyhoo, set the lines in or out, feed a marlin a ballyhoo thru the outrigger clip, pop a flat line clip and feed a striper a ballyhoo off the shorts that’s hot on one of the bridge squid chains or shadowing behind a dredge, cast a live mackerel or cabby at a tailer or a bunch of feeders, leader, gaff, or swim a fish boat side for healthy release (we keep billfish in the water not dragged on board) after you catch it or for your buddy. Have at it and enjoy and just let us know what you want to experience on board that day. Tell us what the fish goal is be that morning be it striped or blue marlin, sailfish, dorado, yellowfin, wahoo or some grouper or yellowtail. We will do our best to make it happen if it’s around and realistic doable based on time of year and water conditions.

Released 9 striped marlin, released 3 silky sharks and kept 2 big dorado for dinner!

Been an amazing May striped marlin bite with lots of big dorado. It will be interesting to see how incredible the blue marlin, dorado and yellowfin bite gets with the giant El Niño developing. Book your trips now and don’t miss it!
