On 8 August, our team headed out to the ๐‹๐๐† ๐๐€๐‘๐™๐€๐, anchored during her maiden voyage, to replace a liner and piston on one of her main engines.

The vessel had left Port Arthur, Texas, just a few weeks earlier and was making her way to Pyeongtaek, South Korea. For a ๐›๐ซ๐š๐ง๐-๐ง๐ž๐ฐ ๐‹๐๐† ๐œ๐š๐ซ๐ซ๐ข๐ž๐ซ, having major engine work carried out so early in her first voyage was certainly not part of the plan.

Working at anchorage brought its own challenges, but our team got to work and completed the repair by Monday morning, 10 August. Everyone returned ashore safely, with the job completed and the vessel ready to continue her journey.

The ๐‹๐๐† ๐๐€๐‘๐™๐€๐ has since sailed on and is now making her way through the South China Sea, on her return voyage to the United States.
