🚨 Good News for BMW M xDrive Owners! 🚨

Many customers have asked us over the years whether we could safely test BMW M-powered xDrive vehicles on our 2WD chassis dyno.

We're pleased to announce that we now have a solution! 💪

In this video, we're testing a 2023 BMW G80 M3 xDrive on our dyno, allowing us to carry out accurate power measurements and tuning for these high-performance all-wheel-drive models.

Another Subaru Impreza WRX STI Type RA in for a Link plug-and-play flex fuel setup.

Proper dyno session getting the flex fuel tune dialled in across the ethanol concentration range. We stopped at E50 due to injector duty limits.

370hp / 410Nm on pump fuel.
425hp / 480Nm on E50.

Fresh setup for this Subaru Impreza GD WRX STI with a Link ECU plug-and-play install 🔥

To get the car ready for tuning on our 2WD chassis dyno, we carried out the 2WD pin swap before dialing everything in properly. The setup was upgraded with a set of Injector dynamics 1050cc injectors an FMIC and an exhaust , giving the extra fuel and airflow it needed to come alive.

After tuning, the car laid down:

• 330HP
• 420Nm torque

Setup:
• Stock K04-23 turbo
• 38mm external wastegate
• Upgraded intercooler & piping
• 630cc injectors

Results:➡️ 280hp➡️ 390Nm

That’s a gain of +100hp and +155Nm over stock 💪

Another successful project in the books 🔧

This 2005 BMW E60 came in for a full drive-in, drive-out conversion to a ZF 8HP gearbox — and what a transformation it turned out to be.

We installed an 8HP70 gearbox sourced from a 2017 BMW F10 530D, paired with a 10-pin 8HP shifter from a BMW F30. A custom-made adapter was fabricated to perfectly suit the M57 block, while also accommodating the original starter location on the bellhousing.

To bring everything together seamlessly, we integrated a CanTCU controller to manage communication across systems, along with the necessary coding on the stock CAS2 module to ensure everything runs harmoniously on the same bus.

Replacing the original 6HP26 with the 8HP70 has completely changed the car’s characteristics — smoother shifts, improved responsiveness, and a much more refined driving experience.

Drive in. Drive out. Transformed.

We had this stunning 2022 Porsche 911 GTS (992.1) in the shop for performance upgrades and a custom calibration 🔥

After installing the hardware, we carried out a full dyno session with before and after runs to properly measure the gains.

This wasn’t a quick flash and send-out job — we took the time to log key parameters, monitor the data, and refine the calibration to extract everything safely possible on pump gas, while keeping factory-level drivability and reliability.

📊 Final Results:
Stock: 480HP / 600Nm
Tuned: 570HP / 690Nm

That’s a serious jump in both power and torque — transforming the way this 992.1 GTS delivers performance.

Stronger mid-range, harder pull up top, and a completely different driving experience.

Nissan Skyline R33 RB25 - 558WHP 🙃

Another one from ProspeedParts in for a tuning session.

Done 610hp with 675nm on 1.9bar boost on pump gas 95oct.

We turn it down a notch to 1.6 bar to get 500WHP for reliability.

Ending with 544hp / 592Nm !

Should be more than enough to do the trick 🤪

We’ve just finished getting this GC8 Subaru Impreza EJ20 ready, completing the CAN integration and tuning, with plenty more still left in this setup. This is one of ProspeedParts shop cars that they built, and here at Boost Brothers we handled the CAN integration and tuning on a Link ECU, hard-wired PDM25, Blink Marine keypad, and an AIM dash.

The results speak for themselves at 630 hp with 800 Nm of torque, laying down a solid foundation with a lot of potential still on the table for what’s next.
