Maltese independent feature film Illusion of Faith is heading to Los Angeles later this month, where it has picked up five nominations at the Hard Faith Fest.

The mystery drama, led by Malta based filmmaker Aleksa Ristović and his production house Ristones Movies, is set to premiere on 25th June and will compete in the following categories:
🎬 Best Feature Film�🎬 Best International Film�🎬 Best Script / Writing�🎬 Best Director�🎬 Best Production

Illusion of Faith brings together filmmakers and actors from Malta, Serbia, Macedonia, Bulgaria, Venezuela, Brazil and Poland, making it a truly international production with strong Maltese roots.

The film follows a fugitive whose arrival draws a detective into a mystery that blurs the lines between faith, reason and reality.

The cast includes Maltese actors such as Henry Zammit Cordina, Jaimie Busuttil, Frida Cauchi, Mikhail Basmadjian, Josette Ciappara, Paul Sant, Clara Sciberras, Francesco Borg, Jeremy Vella and Jessica Jane Cassar, alongside an international ensemble.

Malta also plays a starring role in the production, with the film making extensive use of the island's historic chapels, religious sites and coastal landscapes to create its distinctive atmosphere.

Requirements:
• **Valid Boatmaster or Boatman Certificate**
• Strong seamanship and navigation skills
• Professional and customer-focused attitude
• Fluent communication skills in English

Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous charter or boating experience
• Maltese nationality

We are looking for individuals who take pride in delivering a safe, enjoyable, and high-quality experience to our clients while representing our company with professionalism on the water.

We’re excited to share that our boat was featured in a recent film production!

It was a fantastic experience to be involved and to see the hard work and creativity that happens behind the scenes.

A special mention goes to our skipper, who not only steered the boat — but also stepped into a role as part of the cast! We may now need to add “actor” next to his job title 😄⭐
