Muscats Motors is the franchise holder for BMW, MINI, Jaguar, Land Rover & MG. As well as Authorised Repairers and Parts Distributors for these brands. Muscats Motors, as its name implies, originally belonged to the Muscat family who built the garage in Gzira where it also operated under the name of Muscat’s Garage. The original building won an award for its architectural merits. However, during t
he war, the building was given over to the RAF who apparently used it to maintain Spitfire plane engines, and this, so family lore has it, was the reason why the building was bombed during hostilities. It was then rebuilt and the Mizzi family bought not just the building but also the Muscat name, under which it has continued to trade ever since.
