Chery Malaysia has launched the O5 1.5T B-segment SUV. More than just a cosmetic job of the outgoing Omoda 5, this one is updated with a wet dual clutch transmission and multi-link rear suspension (replacing the CVT and torsion beam), among other things.
Just one version is available for now and it is priced at RM116,800. It is covered by a 7-year (or 150,000) vehicle warranty.
The launch package includes 10-year (or 1 million km) engine warranty, 3 years free service, and special financing from Maybank (@ RM990 a month).

Malaysia became the first to officially launch the iCAUR global brand, and also the iCAUR 03.
This off-road-capable SUV is planned for local assembly in early 2026. Right now it is sold as a fully imported unit at RM119,800 for the 2WD and RM129,800 for the iWD all-wheel-drive.
There's even a limited Phantom Black edition with extras for an additional RM20,000.
The first 1,000 who book by 17 September 2025 will benefit from an extensive early bird package which includes unlimited charging for 1 year.
