Il est tout simplement FADY de détruire la forêt de MIKEA.
Les États-Unis le savent bien et la respectent, car ils défendent activement le patrimoine commun de l’humanité.
Mais ce sont vous, les autorités malgaches, qui insistez pour accorder une autorisation à cette société privée américaine, alors même que vous êtes parfaitement au courant des nombreuses irrégularités techniques non résolues — sans parler d’un accord économique complètement déséquilibré, au détriment de Madagascar et des Malgaches.
Où est donc passé le ministère de l’Environnement malgache, celui qui crie sur tous les toits, lors des sommets mondiaux, que le changement climatique ravage la biodiversité malgache, et qu’il faut des financements pour la préserver ?
Et voilà qu’on s’apprête à détruire une forêt ancestrale de BAOBAB 7000Ha, protégée, unique au monde, pour des intérêts obscurs.
Y a-t-il une vraie logique dans la gouvernance de Madagascar ? Ou est-ce encore un discours vide de sens ?

Yet it is you, the Malagasy authorities, who insist on granting authorization to a private American company to continue exploitation—even though you already know there are numerous unresolved technical issues. Most importantly, the economic agreement is deeply unbalanced, with Madagascar and the Malagasy people getting almost nothing in return.
Where is the Malagasy Ministry of Environment now? The same one that goes around global summits crying that climate change is destroying Madagascar’s biodiversity and begging for funds to restore it?
And now you want to destroy a protected, endemic, and 7000Ha ancestral Baobab forest?
Is there any real logic in the way Madagascar is being governed? Or is it all just empty words?
