The production of Madagascar vanilla beans mainly takes place in the Sava region, in which the major producing districts are Sambava Antalaha, Vohemar, and Andapa. It is estimated that there are approximately 7,000 vanilla farmers in the Sava region who produce 70-80% of all Bourbon-Madagascar vanilla. Texas Exportporium is especially careful about the product quality and credentials therefore we decided to minimize the middlemen’s role in the supply chain and started to purchase all products from farmers and export them directly. So, Texas Exportporium is a collector and Exporter. That’s the reason Texas Exportporium offers very attractive pricing with granted product quality. At first glance, a vanilla bean may not look like much. But behind each glossy pod from Madagascar lies a story of patience, precision, and passion.

Unlike synthetic vanillin—which is just one molecule mimicking a fraction of vanilla’s aroma—real Madagascar vanilla is a complex blend of 600+ unique compounds. This depth is what gives natural vanilla its creamy warmth, floral notes, and unforgettable finish.
