Today we celebrated our little one, Guy, turning 8! 🎂❤️
For his birthday, he had one simple wish spend the day at the track riding dirt bikes and quads something he absolutely loves. 🏍️💨

We were especially lucky this year because all four of our kids are home, so his three siblings joined him and we had the whole crew out on the track together. That alone made the day pretty special.

And a big surprise came from Ella the dare devil 😎 this was her first time ever riding a motorcycle, and she surprised all of us with how naturally she went and how fast she got super fast one it! 👏🔥

Watching all four of them riding together made me incredibly proud. They share our love and passion for off-road adventures and motorsports, and seeing them enjoy it together makes both my wife and me very happy. More than the riding itself, it's about spending time together, challenging themselves, learning new things, and creating memories as a family.

Happy 8th birthday, Guy! ❤️

Aim high, keep exploring, keep challenging yourself, and never be afraid to dream big. The sky really is the limit for you.

Love you to the moon and back! 🌙❤️

And a huge thank you to the KMH team for always being so welcoming and accommodating, especially when we come up with plans on such short notice. 😁🙏
Liels paldies! ❤️ 🙏

When everything works together so perfectly, the whole setup just feels seamless. 👌

The right gear, everything exactly where it needs to be, and a Jeep that not only looks amazing but performs exactly the way I need it to.

I’ll be sharing a video soon with my feedback and first impressions of the new James Baroud Evasion Proline after putting it to real use.

More to come. Stay tuned! 🤙

I've been using the ICECO APL35 fridge/freezer for over a year now, so I think it's fair to share some real long-term feedback.

When I first got it, it was simply strapped down in the trunk and connected to DC power on my Tailgate Gear ® platform for the Jeep JL.

I picked up the fridge from 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗶𝘀 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗚𝗺𝗯𝗛 ( Dror, Jonathan & the whole family) ❤️ at the ABENTEUER & ALLRAD show, which I visited with the Jeep and my wife. The size, weight and capacity were exactly what I was looking for in my build.

At the same show I met Stefano from Tailgate Gear ® (my Italian brother 🇮🇹❤️) and later added their fridge slide. From there, I completed the setup here in Latvia with a custom drawer system I designed around the space I had available, built from Latvian plywood from Ergoss.lv finieru bāze and fitted with heavy-duty rails.

Together with my main shelf and the additional upper shelf from Expedition-Gear | Offroad Accessories | 4x4 Gear |, the whole system works extremely well while keeping the overall weight reasonable.

And that's something I can't stress enough when building an overlanding rig: it's all about weight. Every modification adds up.

Now to the actual fridge 😁

After more than a year of use, the ICECO APL35 has been one of the best value-for-money additions to my setup. Great performance, compact dimensions, low weight and it basically runs 24/7 in my Jeep.

It's powered by my EcoFlow Delta 3 Plus, supported by their 500W alternator charger and my lensunsolar 60W hood solar panel. It's become one of those pieces of equipment I simply don't think about anymore it just works.

The 35L size is perfect for my setup. On longer family trips I tow the camper and have an additional fridge anyway, but if you have a larger rig or need more capacity, ICECO has plenty of larger options too at very competitive prices.

If you're just starting your build, don't only think about what equipment you want. Think about where it needs to go, how easily you can access it, how securely it's mounted, and how much weight you're adding. On rough and bumpy roads, good planning makes all the difference.

Build it around how you actually travel and use your rig. 🤙

Day 2 – American Spirit Event 🇱🇹

Day two turned it up another level! More amazing American cars, more incredible Jeeps, and some absolutely crazy custom builds. We even spotted a bicycle rolling on 40-inch tires, airplanes, great food, and spent the day surrounded by awesome people who share the same passion.

What an atmosphere! Looking forward to seeing what the evening brings. 🤙
