LHD Land Rover Defender 90 produced in 1997 with 300tdi engine, in Land Rover Keswick Green colour (LRC799).
Defender went through full frame off bolt and nut restoration in professional LR Defender workshop "Pelkinis".
Chassis and Suspension:
Chassis, axles and suspension parts - fully stripped, sandblasted and powder-coated by applying two layers of paint. Vin number was preserved (masked with special tape) during this process to make sure it is visible.
Axles assembled with new seals, bearings, wheel hubs, mud shields and bolts
Suspension fully redone with new polybushes and bolts
New fuel tank with fuel lock fitted
Full new exhaust fitted with mounts
Body:
Body fully stripped, sandblasted rusty areas and professionally repainted in Keswick green.
Rear bulkhead professionally removed and tubular bulkhead removal kit installed to give more room for driver and passenger
Fitted new rear half-door kit with hinges, door locks and seals
Fitted series II style doors with removable door tops including door glass channels, new glass, locks and seals
Front Wing sides changed to new
New hinges and mirrors
Mirror heads and headlights surrounds painted body color
Heavy duty soft top cage fitted
Soft top hood with side windows custom made from high quality fabric - Mohair. Outside is beige color and inside is black.
5pcs. Wolf rims painted body color and fitted using galvanised wheel nuts
Doors, hinges, floors, wings and whole body assembled using high quality stainless steel bolts.
Spare wheel carrier fitted to make sure no rattling comes overtime from spare wheel
x5 new BFGoodrich All Terrain K03 tyres fitted
All lights are converted to Led professionally using LED relay.
Premium quality LED headlights fitted designed for LHD Defender.
Heritage front grill fitted
Wiring fully dismantled, checked, fixed and mounted back using new light, wiper and other switches
Wiper mechanisms fully serviced by putting new wiper motor with wiper center shafts and legs
New silver front bumper with and caps fitted
Brakes:
New brake lines professionally routed along with brake hoses and all fittings
High quality brand new brake callipers fitted with new bolts all 4 brake discs
New brake master cylinder with vacuum reservoir and new vacuum pipe fitted
Engine, Gearbox, Transferbox:
300tdi engine fully refurbished - compression testing done, turbocharger rebuild, new timing belt kit fitted and also all new glow plugs, new seals everywhere. Valve clearance adjusted.
Fitted new alternator and starter as well as alternator belt with tensioner. Air filter housing, all pulleys and other fittings powder-coated.
Also fitted a new Intercooler, radiator and waterpump to make sure cooling is perfect.
LT230 Transferbox fully stripped and reassembled with new seals, o rings and gaskets to make sure there is no leaks
R380 gearbox tested, cleaned and painted, new clutch kit fitted.
Steering:
Steering box fully refurbished with new seals by a specialised shop.
Heavy Duty galvanised steering rods fitted with new steering dumper
Interior:
Dash fully stripped, wrapped with high quality leatherette, re-installed with new metal dash mount, center console.
Dash top, sides also covered in matching fabric
Raised cubby box installed to give comfort during ride
Front seats custom made in high quality leatherette using new foams and stamped with Land Rover Logo
New rear bench seats done in matching color
x3 custom door cards fabricated and trimmed with leatherette to give outstanding look
Steering wheel wrapped in black leather using matching stitches
New Blaupunkt radio fitted with bluetooth, antena and front speakers
All 6 new seatbelts mounted
